“BIM Coaches Training”: 2018 January 9th and 10th

The BIMplement project will have “BIM coaches” whose main task will be to identify
the future trainers in the BIMplement methodology developed under the project. To
guarantee an implantation in all the territories, all participating countries will have one
or more “BIM coaches”: Netherlands, Spain, Poland, Lithuania and France.

On the 9th and 10th of January, AVE (Alliance Villes Emploi) and ASTUS Construction
organized a first “BIM Coaches Training” that was held in Paris attended by
representatives of the following leading training entities: Huygen, ISSO, IVE, MOW,
LSA, ASTUS.

In this meeting the main tasks that BIM coaches will have to perform were set:
– Organize awareness campaigns in their local pilot territories
– Raise awareness of local contractors on one hand, and SME’s and craftsmen on
the other hand (theme: The BIM process and the obligations and opportunities
in relation with nZEB buildings)
– Contribute to the identification of potential “field labs” and “experimental
sites”
– Contribute to the identification of potential local “BIM workplace trainers”
– Coordinate the BIMplement project in their territories

Los pasados 9 y 10 de enero, se celebró en París la reunión para el “Training for BIM
coaches”.

La reunión, organizada por AVE (Alliance Villes Emploi) y ASTUS Construction, tuvo
como principal objetivo formar a los BIM coaches de cada uno de los países
participantes en el “proceso BIM” y en cómo explicar a los diferentes agentes
involucrados el interés por participar en estos procesos.

El encuentro permitió reflexionar sobre las diferentes etapas que se dan en el proceso
constructivo, así como los diferentes agentes y escenarios que se pueden dar
vinculados a las mismas, con objeto de definir las mejores estrategias y herramientas
para implementar BIM en un proyecto concreto.

Uno de los objetivos finales es que los “BIM coaches” sean capaces de identificar a los
formadores que posteriormente se encargarán de aplicar la metodología BIMplement
desarrollada al amparo del proyecto, para la formación de profesionales y trabajadores
de obra en el uso de las herramientas BIMplement.
