Description

A new modern 9763 sq.m. A++ energy efficiency Public administration new building project has been designed in Vilnius Sietyno, street 24 at 2019 Q3 – 2020 Q3 period. Vilnius, Administrative building will host the Vilnius County Police Commissariat and Traffic Police units (VPK). The area of the above-ground part of the building will reach 5237 sq. m, and underground – 4526 sq. m. meters. The heated area of the building is 5849 sq. m. . The building is expected to employ about 460 people.
The planned energy efficiency class A ++ of the designed building. Criteria for safety, economic, functionally reliable, ergonomic, energy efficiency and ease of operation were selected for the selection of design solutions and technologies.
The building is designed with a 40kW solar power plant (PV) and with plus 40kW solar extension power plant (PV) possibilities, integrated into the common electricity supply networks.

Trainings

The Client had formulated detailed BIM requirements in the procurement documentation from the very beginning. Online WEB (Gotomeeting and Microsoft meet) BIMplement master trainer meetings with all project team were organized for BIM planning with set up of project BIM execution plan (BEP), including NZEB related BIM use cases. Introduction and trainings of initial setting of project information classification structure based on ISO81346 classification standard were organized. BIMplement trainings were aimed at how to reach higher level of Energy efficiency within design stage also how to improve efficiency and quality of BIM model (including requirements for ventilation and airtightness) and how to prepare for efficient public procurement of Contactor with clear requirements for “As build” BIM model for use within exploitation and maintenance.

Main communication during the development and coordination of the model also trainings took place in a WEB CDE Trimble Connect. S3 stage BIM model and documentation Handover is planning in 2020 Q3. Public procurement of Construction Contractor expected in 2020 Q4. Start of Building Operation is planned at the end of 2021. Continues BIMPlement trainings planning within further project implementation stages.
